Getting Started

Now that I have this blog I need to learn how to navigate it and how to get some stuff in those blank margins..will someone tell me step by step how to do this as you would a child. I am all ears and eyes waiting for some helpers. For example I would love to post a link to a video of music I love. Step by step tell me how. thanks
